fyiAds today launched a new contextual advertising system that allows a website owner to place eBay ads on their site that relate to the content on their pages. The new system works very much like Google's Adsense (tm) advertising system . Web page content is matched up to appropriate merchandise that is listed on eBay. As an example, if a Web site is about collecting coins, the fyiAds system will display ads for coins that are currently being offered for sale on eBay.

Hoping to bolster its associate network, Amazon.com has begun testing an AdSense-like program that enables associates to host sponsored links from a third-party provider.

Online advertising company Kanoodle has signed a deal to provide targeted ads on Microsoft's MSN Spaces blogging service, the Amherst company said Monday.

The service is a new feature to the Qumana Editor, which lets bloggers publish to multiple blogs in a Word-like environment.
